Dr Anita C Fok, DDS

Dentistry is my passion, and I look always forward to seeing our patients. We have learned that people are different, which means their oral needs are different. We listen to what our patient needs are, and we tailor a treatment plan that gets them the results they seek.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, my family had the opportunity to move to Seattle when my father was invited to help open the very first Chinese bakery in Seattle. After finishing high school, I attended the University of Washington and majored in math. I always knew I would be in the healthcare field; it was just a matter of whether it would be as a medical doctor, or as a dentist. I love being creative and working with my hands, and that helped me decide that dental would be my career choice.

I completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington in 1991 and immediately bought a private practice from Dr. Bruce Johnson in the Greenwood neighborhood. I still practice there to this day. In addition, I have been a faculty member at the University of Washington since 1992, teaching third and fourth-year students in the Oral Medicine department. In 2009, I also started teaching students in the University of Washington’s Restorative department. I also found time to start a second dental practice called Premier Dental in Lacey, WA.

I am a certified provider for Nobel Biocare and Invisalign. I’m a member of the International Congress of Implantologists, Washington State Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

I enjoy traveling with my husband and seeking new food finds throughout the United States and the world. I also participate in continuing education to keep up to date with the latest technology and techniques.
