Dr. Lalita Angkanawaraphan
Dr. Lalita Angkanawaraphan (Dr. Lalita) was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. Upon graduation in 2013, she practiced general dentistry in her hometown and enjoyed teaching undergraduate student at Thammasat University. She moved to the United States a year later in order to pursue oral medicine training in Seattle, where she received a Master of Science degree in oral medicine from the University of Washington. Following her graduate training, she continues to work at UW as a part-time faculty member, treating patients with orofacial pain conditions and mucosal diseases along with instructing undergraduate students in the Oral Medicine Clinical Service.
Dr. Lalita specializes in treating patients with orofacial pain disorders, temporomandibular disorders (TMDs), trigeminal neuropathic pain, burning mouth syndrome, obstructive sleep apnea, and oral mucosal lesions.
When not at office, she enjoys snowboarding, running, doing yoga, cooking Thai food, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
